Dental Insurance Frequently Asked Questions
How does dental insurance PPO work?
PPO stands for Preferred Provider Organization. If you do have PPO dental insurance, you do have the flexibility of choosing your own dentist. In other words, you don’t have to go and see only participating dentists in your network provider. With PPO dental insurance you get the highest benefits from dental insurance. Your benefits vary based on the group plan your employer chooses for you. At Summit Point Dental Implant Center, we can verify your insurance and give you an estimate based on your dental needs.
What does PPO dental insurance cover?
Most PPO dental insurances have a maximum of $1000-$2000 per calendar year. This means, after you maximized your insurance benefits, you are responsible for any out-of-pocket expense for the remainder of your treatment.
You also have a different copay based on certain dental procedures your dental insurance covers. Every PPO dental insurance covers procedures differently based on the group plan your employer chooses for you. Please contact Summit Point Dental Implant Center if you have any questions about your dental insurance.
